Become a Ministry Partner with 3 For 1 and "Save Our Schools"

As many of you know 3 For 1 has been invited by many school systems over the past six years to lead public and private school assemblies. This incredible opportunity led 3 For 1 to form the S.O.S (Save Our Schools)Tour.

  • To date the S.O.S. Tour has reached out to hundreds of thousands of students across America.
  • Hundreds have attended concerts scheduled around the times of the school appearances and have received Christ as their Savior.
  • This ministry has been a source of inspiration for literally thousands of students nationwide.
  • Next year even more schools have already requested that 3 For 1 come and sing.
 
"At a high school in Georgia in 2004 a young girl near the front of the stage stood and began to raise her hands and praise God as 3 for 1 sang a popular praise and worship song, "Shout To The Lord." The principal made his way down to the front and stood beside her. He placed his hand on her shoulder and made her sit down. Behind her sat a whole row of football players. Those guys saw what happened and looked at each other as the principal walked back to his seat. They all stood in support of their classmate and the young girl stood back up too.  Row after row stood until almost the whole student body was standing, half of them raising their hands and their voices singing "Shout To The Lord" in a public school!   Many of the students attended a county wide youth rally that evening sponsored by local churches.  Hundreds of decisions were made for Christ."
 
The good news is 3 For 1's S.O.S. ministry is growing, however.... 
  • Cost of traveling is higher (fuel, meals, hotels).
  • Upkeep and need for better sound equipment for larger venues.
  • Continued cost of recording cds and duplicating them. (6 CDs are given away at each school concert) 
  • We have never charged a school to come sing, we have always had a church or small group of people help us with our expenses.
"Once in another high school in Georgia 3 for 1 led an afternoon assembly in the school gym to invite students to an evening concert sponsored by a local church. After singing and presenting a positive impact program the students asked one of their classmates to walk out of the stands down to the middle of the gymnasium to lead them in prayer. The local school board and the superintendent of schools in that area was attending the assembly and the superintendent started shaking his head "no" meaning that the young man could not pray. As the superintendent began to stand to stop the prayer, several members of the school board stopped him and the boy was able to lead the school in a prayer!  At the evening concert 52 teenagers were saved!"
 
3 For 1 continues to offer this type of program for free to the schools that invite the group to lead an assembly. An evening concert or youth rally is often planned in the immediate area so students can attend and be given an opportunity to respond to an invitation, but to continue this ministry 3 for 1 needs partners who will regularly support this part of their ministry. "An elementary school in North Carolina invited 3 For 1 to come and present a program to the students. During the last song of the concert a little boy had a seizure. His teacher was very concerned because he had never had this type of reaction before. After 3 For 1 ended the song and thanked the students for their attention, the teacher asked if they would come into a room with her and the boy and pray for him."

How much will it cost to become a Ministry Partner?
A minimum gift of $10 per month is requested. When you sign up you can check several boxes for monthly donations of $10, $25, $50 or $100.

You may also make a one time donation in any amount that God has laid on your heart. You can have your donation placed on your credit/debit card each month as long as you desire, or you may send a check each month.

What will I receive for supporting your ministry?
  1. You'll be added to 3 For 1's email list to receive weekly updates on where they are and what they are doing. 
  2. You'll be mailed an autographed picture of 3 For 1.
  3. We will print an annual newsletter that you will receive that focuses on our "Save Our Schools" ministry. 
  4. You'll also receive 3 For 1's latest CD for a donation of at least $25 a month. For donations of $100 a month you will receive 3 For 1's last 3 releases free of charge. 
  5. You will know you are helping a ministry that is reaching students across this country. The goal is to reach kids who may never have the opportunity to hear the gospel any where else. Can you imagine the impact?

Will my gifts be tax deductible?
Yes... if you request.  3 for 1 is a corporation so your gifts are not tax deductible if made directly to the group. For tax credit on your donation you must write your checks to United Fellowship Baptist Church in Oak Park, Georgia. This church hosts an annual tour to the public schools in their area called the "Light Your World  Tour." They will enter your donations into a special fund set up at the church and then it will be forwarded to 3 For 1.
 
"3 For 1's first stop on the Light Your World 2005 school tour was truly special. During the school assembly at Robert Toombs Christian Academy in Lyons, GA, 15 students stood to their feet in front of all their peers and acknowledged that they accepted Jesus as their Savior!  Decision opportunities can't be given in the public schools because of the laws in America, but the Christian schools often allow 3 For 1 to host a chapel service, much like a regular church service instead of an assembly." 
 
Can I just give to the ministry without making monthly donations?
Yes... you can simply mail your donation to 3 For 1 Ministries, 104 Bright Ave., Bessemer City, NC  28016 or call 704/868-4807 to run your donation on your Credit/Debit card. Just tell the receptionist that you want to donate to 3 For 1's  Ministry and you'll be directed to a 3 For 1 representative.
