Walkin' Down The Road - from the album "Walk Down This Mountain"

When Jesus went to the wilderness to let the devil have his say

Even after forty days and nights no worship would he pay

Now three times Satan tempted Him he tried to be so slick

Then the Son of God spoke holy words and the devil cut out real quick

He went walkin’ down the road

He went walkin’ down the road

Walkin’ down the road

And he never looked back again

He went walkin’ down the road

He went walkin’ down the road

Walkin’ down the road

And he never looked back again

Now Jesus saw a crippled man, lying on his bed

And because this man had friends of faith, He leaned over to him and said

"Now stand up son, be of good cheer, because I forgive your sin"

Then the man stood up on brand new legs, grabbed up his bed and then

He went walkin’ down the road

He went walkin’ down the road

Walkin’ down the road

Oh and he never looked back again

He went walkin’ down the road

Walkin’ down the road

Walkin’ down the road

Oh and he never looked back again

Now if your cares are worldly and the devil hangs around

But you want to fight temptation, let me tell you what I’ve found

You need to know the Savior, so get on your knees my friend

Just turn your back on the sin in your life, stand up, trust God and then

You go walkin’ down the road

You go walkin’ down the road

Walkin’ down the road

Oh and you ever look back again

You go walkin’ down the road

You go walkin’ down the road

Walkin’ down the road

Don’t you ever look back again
